Finnlines Cargo Commander

Cargo Commander is a software system originally developed by AVECS Corporation AG (now INTERSCHALT maritime systems AG). In 2006 the Finnlines Group has taken over the complete system including all source codes and relevant copyrights. ZeeBORN GmbH is now in charge for continuing the maintenance of the system and further development.

The system is mainly used for the centralization of booking data and stowage location messages in a graphical stowage plan (real-time status registration). Building on the merged cargo data, unloading times for each cargo unit will be calculated in the destination harbors, with which the respective freight companies may plan the allocation of its drivers in the destination harbors.
