# Forms & Checklists

The Forms & Checklists module enables the creation and management of document templates in popular file formats (Excel, Word, PDF) that are to be completed by the crew within the system. Typical examples include circular letters, checklists, and maintenance-related forms.

Forms can be linked to various processes or operational points — for example, to specific Maintenance Job Reports (e.g. when certain job codes are used), or to a Purchase process when predefined thresholds are exceeded. They can also be defined as mandatory, requiring completion before the related task or process can be finalized.

All completed forms are stored within the system and displayed as attachments to the corresponding record or activity. The required editors are included in the system and do not require the installation of 3rd party software (no installation of Microsoft Office required).

In a future version of the software, the data collected from these forms will also be available for analysis and reporting.
